About the Role

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff to provide tailored support for pupils with a range of special educational needs. Every day will be different, offering the chance to positively impact pupils both academically and personally.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Providing individual and small group support.
• Supporting pupils to access learning activities and classroom routines.
• Encouraging social interaction and emotional wellbeing.
• Helping students develop confidence and independence.
• Assisting with personalised learning and behaviour plans.
• Adapting your approach to meet the needs of individual pupils.
• Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff.

• ADHD
• Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
• Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
• Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
• Complex Learning Needs
• Behavioural and emotional challenges
